You give so much.

The "Just this once" discounts. Late-night DMs answering questions you should be paid for.

And when money finally comes your way?

You feel… weird.

Guilty. Like you took something. Like you need to immediately give it away or spend it so it doesn't sit in your account too long and make you uncomfortable.

I see this constantly with my clients here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Healers, coaches, and spiritual entrepreneurs in McKinney, Allen, and Frisco; women running six-figure souls in five-figure bodies are all struggling with the same block.

Here's what's actually happening:

Your sacral chakra is dysregulated, and it's confused receiving with taking.

Let me show you how to fix it.

WHAT'S ACTUALLY BLOCKED

Your sacral chakra lives just below your navel. It rules:

  • Creativity

  • Pleasure

  • Flow (of money, opportunities, love)

  • Your ability to receive without flinching

When it's out of whack, inflow feels like a threat.

A compliment lands, and you deflect: "Oh, this old thing?"

A payment comes in, and you immediately pay a bill, not because you have to, but because the money feels hot in your hands.

A friend offers to buy you coffee, and you Venmo them before they've even ordered.

You think you're being polite.

You're actually blocking your own abundance.

And here's the hard truth I had to learn myself, sitting in my home office right outside McKinney:

Your capacity to receive is your capacity to serve.

They're not opposites. They're the same river flowing in opposite directions. Block one, and the other dries up too.

PRACTICE 1: SEPARATE RECEIVING FROM TAKING

You were taught that keeping something for yourself means depriving someone else.

That's a lie.

Here's how to untangle it:

1. Hand on lower belly. Eyes closed. Say
"I receive what is freely offered to me."

Say it five times. Feel where you resist. Breathe there.

2. When money hits your account at any amount, pause.

Don't move it. Don't spend it. Don't mentally calculate what it's going to pay for.

Place your hand on your chest or belly and whisper:

"Thank you."

That's it. Three seconds.

You're teaching your nervous system that money arriving is safe. Not a threat. Not a trap. Just… welcome.

I teach this to every Reiki client who comes to me in Dallas, wondering why their business isn't growing. It's never about strategy. It's always about safety.

PRACTICE 2: BECOME A MICRO-RECEIVER

You're waiting for a five-figure month to feel worthy of receiving.

But your energetic container isn't built for five figures yet.

It's built in the small moments.

Micro-Receiving Drills:

Someone compliments you? "Thank you." Full stop. No deflecting. No explaining. Let it land. Breathe after it.

Someone holds the door? Don't rush through it. Walk slowly. Let them hold it for an extra second. Receive the gesture.

Does someone offer to pay for coffee? Say yes. Sit with the resistance. Don't Venmo them on the walk home.

Next time you're at Legacy West or downtown McKinney, and a stranger smiles at you? Let yourself receive that warmth. Don't look away.

Small receipts build your capacity for large ones.

You're literally strength-training your sacral chakra.

PRACTICE 3: INFUSE PLEASURE INTO PROFIT

Your sacral chakra speaks the language of pleasure.

Money + stress = blocked.
Money + shame = blocked.
Money + guilt = blocked.

Money + pleasure = open.

The Practice:

Light a candle before you open your Stripe dashboard or bank account.

When you see a payment arrive, pause for 30 seconds, even if it’s just $5.

Place your hand on your heart. Breathe.

Let yourself feel the energy of someone valuing your work enough to exchange their resources for it.

Savor it.

Not mentally. Energetically.

This tells your sacral: Oh. Receiving feels good. More of this, please.

I do this every time a DFW client books a session with me. Even before I answer their intake form, I pause. I breathe. I let their trust land in my body.

THE DEEPER TRUTH

I used to think being a "good" healer meant being a vessel that never filled up—just constantly pouring out.

Then I got sick. Burned out. Resented my clients. Resented myself.

Here's what broke the cycle:

I realized that when I block receiving, I'm not protecting anyone.

I'm just running on empty.

And an empty vessel cannot pour.

Opening your hands to receive isn't selfish.

It's preparation for the next person you're meant to help.

Whether you're in Prosper, Plano, or anywhere else in the DFW metroplex, your people are waiting for you to be full so you can serve them.
